The Rice Raiser Pilot 2005

International Christian Response and MEI Secondary and Middle Schools teamed up to raise rice. The results of the food drive/fund raiser are as follows:
Rice raised throughout the campaign: 840.26 kilograms (to be distributed through the local Food Bank)
Cash raised to purchase rice for the poor in Cambodia, Vietnam and Sri Lanka: $1,550.00. This money will purchase enough rice to feed 3,000 people for one week! (Rice is the primary staple in all their meals.)
Many other people helped to make this event a success by providing prizes as incentive and by promoting this worthwhile project. Special thanks goes to:
