Nation Hunger Awareness Day – Be the Change 4 Hunger Contest

Hunger Response International and Abbotsford Save-On-Foods are helping raise awareness about hunger by holding a contest on National Hunger Awareness Day.

We’re looking for 100 people who want to make a difference through creative and artistic expression on environmental canvas tote bags.

May 15 – Have a Rice Day on the International Day of the Family

Food security keeps families together! This year, the project that we are working on in Guatemala is helping empower women and children who have been left in thier village as their men try to find employment on coffee or cotten plantations. They are gone for months at a time and the women often struggle to find food to feed their children.
